DHAKA http://www.seahawksrookiestore.com/Seahawks-Frank-Clark-Jersey/ , Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Crowds of hundreds cheered, clapped and waved as China's famous Tianjin Art Troupe staged a culturally captivating event in a performance aimed at celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year in Dhaka.

The performance included traditional Chinese musical instruments, dance, acrobatics and martial arts and many more exquisite recitals.

The Bangladesh-China Friendship Center (BCFC), in association with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Bangladesh and Bangladesh's National Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, organized the performance presented by the Tianjin Art Troupe of China.

BCFC President M. Delwar Hossain said the 32-member Tianjin Art Troupe was visiting Bangladesh to showcase its performance to the local people as part of celebrations for the Chinese New Year, which falls on Feb. 8.

He expressed his hope that the Chinese New Year will bring much more success for the People's Republic of China and for people in Bangladesh and elsewhere in the world.

Ruhul Amin, a Dhaka University student, said: "I am really impressed by the the troupe's performance. I've never seen such an excellent performance in my life. I'm delighted that they organized the program."

All the attendees agreed that the wonderful program will help build a deeper understanding between China and Bangladesh.

Kazi Mohamad Nasir Uddin, a professor at Dhaka's Jagannath University, said: "We've really enjoyed the performances http://www.seahawksrookiestore.com/Seahawks-Eddie-Lacy-Jersey/ , which presented the rich cultural heritage of China. Such visits of Chinese troupes will strengthen cultural bonds between the countries. And this will be reflected in our social life, state life and in all spheres of life."

Chinese Ambassador Ma Mingqian also highly commended such cultural exchange.

"The Spring Festival is a time to celebrate. It's a time to celebrate what we have done and what we have achieved. And indeed we have achieved a lot in the past year."

"The Chinese economy remains stable, contrary to concerns from many corners of the world. We have maintained a very strong momentum of growth," the ambassador added.

The ambassador was also praised the achievements of Bangladesh and its people.

"You have maintained a very high economic growth over the last 17 years and I hope that China and Bangladesh will work hand in hand not only to bring a better future for all of our people, but also for the region and to continue to contribute to the prosperity and stability of the rest of the world as well."

He expressed his hope that cultural exchanges between the two countries will become an important pillar for bilateral relations and that this closer relationship of cooperation will lead to the bright future of the people of both countries.

BCFC President Hossain also said that such a program will contribute immensely to further deepening bilateral relations.

CANBERRA, March 24 (Xinhua) -- The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) on Thursday warned parents to keep poisonous products from children's reach as data showed almost 2,500 children are admitted to hospital every year following poisonings.

As part of the International Poison Prevention Week, the ACCC has released a report which analyses calls made to the Poisons Information Centres from June 2014 to May 2015.

"Each year, 180,000 calls are made to the Poisons Information Centres in Australia http://www.seahawksrookiestore.com/Seahawks-Earl-Thomas-Iii-Jersey/ , with about half of these relating to children. The most common causes of poisoning incidents were all-purpose and hard surface cleaners, detergents, toilet bowl products, bleach, hand sanitisers, detergents and glow sticks http://www.seahawksrookiestore.com/Seahawks-Chris-Carson-Jersey/ ," ACCC Deputy Chair Delia Rickard said.

"Children under 5 are most at risk of accidental poisoning, with the risk highest for 2 year olds."

"Poisonings often occur on holidays when families are heading to holiday houses or visiting friends and relatives who may not have young children," Rickard said as the four-day Easter holiday starts on Friday.

The ACCC reports found that injuries range from skin irritations and eye damage through to severe internal burns. Ingesting toxic products can result in difficulty swallowing, chest pains, abdominal pain and vomiting. Some chemicals contacting the skin or eyes can result in rashes, chemical burns and blindness.

"The most serious incidents relate to carbon monoxide exposure http://www.seahawksrookiestore.com/Seahawks-Cj-Prosise-Jersey/ , button batteries, caustic cleaners such as oven and BBQ cleaners, acids, pool chemicals, household bleaches and herbicides," Rickard said.

The ACCC is working with industry http://www.seahawksrookiestore.com/Seahawks-Braylon-Edwards-Jersey/ , parenting and accident prevention groups and other regulatory agencies to reduce the number and severity of preventable poisonings in Australia through raising consumer awareness about the hazards and encouraging product improvements.
